The Pink Cutz Network was created by a survivor as a result of her personal experience receiving her initial cut in preparation of losing her hair during chemotherapy.  What started out as a decision to control when the hair loss process would take place... turned out to be an uncontrollably emotional experience that left her regretting not making it a private experience.

We have organized a database of barbers and beauticians who have agreed to provide private barber services to those seeking their initial haircut for chemotherapy.  The selection includes a network that extends past Kinston, North Carolina.  Barbers in other cities in North Carolina such as Goldsboro, Greenville, New Bern, Raleigh, Fayetteville, Greensboro and Charlotte are also participating.
